Improving Accuracy with the Proper Grip
In the following Easy Golf Tip, we will discuss how a proper grip can improve your driving accuracy. By properly placing your hands on the golf club grip, it will be easier for you to control the club. In order for you to maintain power and control in a golf swing, you must rotate the club to the same degree that you rotate the body. This means you need a relaxed grip. Do not strangle the club to death.
It is hard to describe the perfect grip using words so I have incorporated the following pictures to help demonstrate where to place the club in your hands.
The top hand

The dots represent the position the club should take in your left hand

Place the left thumb on the backside of the shaft. Club head should be square to target
The bottom hand

Place club on first knuckle of the right index finger

Left thumb should tuck into the lifeline of your right palm

Check the V's. They should point to your right shoulder.
